Thanks to all the county Wildlife Trusts that expressed interest in our recent round of competitions on Twitter. We offered a free slug and snail survey, and a free reptile survey training day.

The winner of the mollusc survey was Dorset Wildlife Trust. We have already surveyed two reserves - Townsend and Fontmell Down - for them, and will soon visit a third - Powerstock - for good measure!

The reptile survey day was awarded to Derbyshire Wildlife Trust. We will visit them in the autumn, to deliver a training event at their Matlock Bath reserve, for staff and volunteers.
